Mist drifting over a mountain lake at dawn

Mountain retreat · China / United Kingdom

Stay where the mist settles.

Yunora is a small mountain retreat: a courtyard, a ridge of windows, and a path with no need to hurry. We do not plan your days. We simply give the time back to you.

  • Courtyard Room · Ridge Suite
  • Tea table & trails
  • Guests from China and the UK

The stays

Two rooms, one kind of quiet.

Every room faces either the courtyard or the ridge, with local tea ware and a seasonal sample. No television — just a window worth sitting beside.

Courtyard Room

庭院客房

A window onto stone, moss and slow mornings. Made for one or two people, and for turning two days into one long pause.

24–28 m² · Two guests · Courtyard side

Ridge Suite interior with a valley view

Ridge Suite

山景套房

A separate sitting room and a full wall of mountain. At dawn, the mist crosses the sill before it reaches the bed.

On staying

Less arranged. More time.

Yunora keeps only a handful of rooms and one long window facing the valley. A good mountain stay should not keep you busy ticking off places. It should let you hear rain on the eaves again.

The objects in each room come from nearby makers. The tea list changes with the season. The trails carry no finish markers. Walk into the mist at dawn, or sit in the courtyard until dark.

Tea & mountain

A tea table and a trail. That is the day.

A tea table in the mountains with a clay pot and cups

We keep no packed programme. Each day has one tea sitting, a few routes you may take or leave, and someone happy to talk for a while.

Tea table

Four seats, following the mountain air. Seasonal leaves, local water, one pot taken slowly.

Daily, 15:00 · About 60 minutes

Trails

Three routes without a finish: stream valley, bamboo grove, ridge line. One section stays walkable in rain.

Still wondering about something? Enquire

How do I enquire about a stay?

Use the form on the contact page. We read every message in the order received, confirm the room and dates, then discuss rates and arrangements with you.

Why not publish a phone number or email?

We want every stay enquiry to be read in full rather than scattered across channels. All enquiries arrive in one queue through this site.

Can we bring children or a dog?

The Courtyard Room can host children, depending on the room and dates. For dogs, please mention it in your enquiry and we will reply based on the period.

Is it easy to reach from China or the UK?

We host guests from both countries. Tell us your departure city and rough dates, and we will suggest the most sensible way to arrive.

What is the minimum stay?

We usually suggest two nights or more. Holiday periods and certain seasons may differ; your reply will confirm.
